Llangennith beach is the northern half of Rhossili Bay, at the western end of the Gower peninsula. The beach consists of fine golden sand backed by dunes. The tidal islet of Burry Holms is at the northern end of the beach and is accessible between mid and low tide.

Oxwich Beach

Located on the Gower Peninsula's southern coast is Oxwich Bay, a vast stretch of golden sand. Oxwich is one of those beaches that genuinely does have something for everyone with a host of activities both in and out of the sea.

Caswell bay

Caswell Bay is a very popular Gower beach due to its proximity to Swansea. The shore is fine sand flanked by limestone cliffs. It can get busy especially at high tide when there is not much beach available, but at low tide the width of the beach extends to about 700 yards.

Langland bay

The sandy bay of Langland is probably the busiest beach on Gower due to its proximity to Swansea. About ¼ mile wide, it lies east of Snaple Point and is backed by a small shingle bank, a sea wall and promenade.
